Southampton Village

Southampton, NY

A vacation home for a Manhattan family, built in collaboration with A+M+L Architects and designed around an abundance of natural light. Brought on early in the process, Maureen played off the home's openness and airiness while intentionally carving out smaller, more intimate spaces within the larger footprint. Color and texture guide the eye from room to room, with textured wallpaper and layered wood tones warming the dining room, and grounding stone moments anchoring both the kitchen island and family room fireplace. The master bedroom is a quiet retreat, muted and minimalist, with a master bathroom where stone wraps the vanity niche to create a sense of sanctuary within the expansive space.
